Nakhon Ratchasima-
On the evening of March 21st, 2025 — Matthias Ebner, a 41-year-old German national accused of violently attacking multiple female dentists at clinics in Nakhon Ratchasima, was found dead at his home.
Matthias, who faced assault and property damage charges for incidents dating back to November 2024, was discovered lying on his bed with a deep wound on his neck and a 25-centimeter knife beneath his body. According to the police, two aggressive Rottweilers were guarding the room when police arrived.
Matthias had been arrested on March 18th for a series of violent attacks at dental clinics in the city. He also faced the revocation of his marriage visa and likely deportation after facing his legal issues. He allegedly broke into clinics, threatened staff, and physically assaulted female dentists — including banging their heads against walls and biting their mouths — causing serious injuries.
He also allegedly vandalized clinic property and invaded dentists’ private quarters. As mentioned, Immigration Police were preparing to recommend visa cancellation due to his dangerous behavior.
However, his Thai wife, working in Prachinburi, contacted local officials after failing to reach him. When village officials and foreign friends arrived at the house, they saw Matthias’s body through a window and called the police.
Investigators found no signs of forced entry or struggle, and forensic results suggest Matthias took his own life amid previous mental health issues.
