Thai Police Bust Mobile Gambling Den in Nonthaburi, 127 Arrested

Nonthaburi, at 4:00 PM on April 4th, 2025 — Over 50 officers from Plai Bang Police Station and supporting units raided a two-story house in Bang Kruai, Nonthaburi, uncovering an illegal Dragon-Tiger gambling den. 

Acting on intelligence that a mobile gambling ring had moved into the area for a day, police waited for the right moment and stormed in as players opened the door.

A total of 127 gamblers were arrested mid-game, with police seizing one Dragon-Tiger table, three surveillance cameras, 68,080 baht in cash, and hundreds of betting chips.

The suspects reportedly admitted they had traveled from Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, and Bangkok, with many just arriving to gamble that same day.

A 57-year-old man, Mr. Noppadol, reportedly confessed to being the operator. He faces charges for organizing illegal gambling for profit, while all players were charged with participating in unauthorized gambling.

All suspects and evidence were transferred to Plai Bang Police Station for legal proceedings.
