Bus Coming to Pattaya Crashes in Prachinburi and Claims 7 Lives, Injures 53

Prachinburi, Thailand – A major accident occurred in the early hours of April 21st, 2025, around 2:00 AM, when a passenger bus traveling from Nong Khai to Rayong collided with the rear of a trailer truck, causing the bus’s wheels to catch fire. The incident took place on the road descending from Pu Khao Salathon Court, heading toward Kabin Buri in Na Di District, Prachinburi Province.

The bus, identified as vehicle number 590-28 and bound for Pattaya-Rayong, carried 60 passengers. The crash resulted in 7 fatalities and 53 injuries, with emergency services rushing the injured to nearby hospitals.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision as of press time and this is still a developing story. The local community and rescue teams, including volunteer group Nu May Rescue, expressed their condolences to the families of the deceased and wished for the swift recovery of the injured.
