Thailand, April 20th, 2025 — The Thai Meteorological Department issued a 15-day forecast from April 21st to May 4th, warning of a return to scorching weather, especially between April 21st–25th.
As the sun moves directly overhead, areas with fewer clouds and little rainfall will see extreme heat, increasing the risk of heatstroke. People are advised to avoid prolonged outdoor exposure.
While summer storms are expected to ease during this period, isolated thunderstorms and brief downpours will still occur—particularly in the South, mostly on the Andaman coast and lower Southern provinces.
Between April 26th–29th, there is a renewed chance of summer storms. The public is urged to stay updated as conditions may shift. Although April has seen scattered rainfall helping to ease the heat, most showers have been short-lived, often with gusty winds and thunderstorms.
