Border Troops Encouraged by Massive Civilian Support

PRESS RELEASE

Support from local communities was delivered to Thai border troops amid tensions along the Thai-Cambodian border, reinforcing unity and national morale.

Residents of Ubon Ratchathani Province united to donate a large number of used tires to front-line military units. These tires will be used to reinforce bunkers and strengthen national defense positions amid rising concerns over border stability.
In Sisaket Province, both local citizens and private sector groups showed strong solidarity by providing flowers, supplies, and food to soldiers stationed near the Preah Vihear border zone.
Amid ongoing tension, the Pha Mor E Daeng area has been temporarily closed to ensure public safety. Thai troops continue to maintain strict security operations and heightened vigilance throughout the area.
Meanwhile, Chao Khun Phra Panyawachiramoli, the abbot of Wat Pa Sri Saeng Tham, donated solar panels and sacred amulets.

The donations were made at the Phalan Chai base in Kantharalak District of Sisaket Province. The sacred items were intended to boost morale and spiritual strength for officers tasked with defending Thailand’s sovereignty at the frontline.
