ASEAN Coast Guard Forum 2025 in Thailand Opens Without Cambodia

PATTAYA, Thailand, June 25, 2025 – At 11:00 AM, Prime Minister Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, who also serves as Director of the National Maritime Security Command Center (NMSCC), presided over the opening ceremony of the ASEAN Coast Guard Forum 2025 (ACF 2025) at the Hilton Pattaya in Chonburi’s Banglamung district.

The event was attended by Mr. Phumtham Wechachai, Minister of Defence and Chairman of the National Maritime Interest Policy Committee (NMPCC), alongside Admiral Chirapol Wongwit, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy and Deputy Director of NMSCC, and Admiral Pairoj Phuengchan, Chief of Staff of the Navy and Secretary-General of NMSCC, who welcomed the delegates.

Notably, Cambodia was absent from the forum, with no representatives in attendance.
