Bangkok Ranked World’s Top City for Digital Nomads in 2025

PRESS RELEASE:

Bangkok has earned the top spot as the world’s No. 1 “dream city” for digital nomads in 2025, according to HotelWithTub’s latest ranking of the 100 most popular destinations for remote workers based on cost of living, lifestyle quality, safety, and online engagement. The Thai capital scored 91 out of 100 overall, with a satisfaction rating of 4.55 out of 5 among surveyed nomads.

The ranking spotlights Bangkok’s appeal as a well-rounded destination with affordable living, efficient public transportation, strong internet access, and a vibrant cultural scene. The city also offers an extensive selection of co-working spaces, from modern office buildings to relaxed garden cafés, catering to various work styles.

Nakhon Ratchasima, also known as Korat, earned a spot in the top five, ranking fifth globally. The city’s inclusion highlights its growing appeal among international remote workers seeking a balance of affordability, comfort, and professional infrastructure outside major urban centers.

Thailand’s continued presence on global digital nomad rankings suggests its growing influence as a destination where flexible work and lifestyle needs align. Both Bangkok and Nakhon Ratchasima demonstrate how urban convenience and cultural richness can coexist with opportunities for remote productivity.

With more professionals embracing remote work, Thailand’s flexibility, quality of services, and strong digital infrastructure make it one of the top destinations for today’s mobile workforce.
