CAAT Advises Passengers to Closely Monitor the Thai-Cambodian Border Situation and Check Flights and Travel Change Policies

Due to unrest along the Thailand-Cambodia border, the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) recommends that Thai citizens who need to travel between the two countries stay updated with news and advice from the Royal Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh.

Passengers are advised to check with airlines operating on these routes, as aircraft types may be changed suddenly to increase seating capacity in response to the rising demand for return travel to Thailand.

Those who already have tickets and wish to change travel dates or times should contact their airline directly to inquire about seat availability and the terms for changes. Travelers are also encouraged to prepare all necessary documents to facilitate smooth airport procedures and reduce congestion.

In cases where passengers cannot reach the airport as scheduled, they should check for support measures from their airline or contact airline staff for appropriate guidance.

CAAT wishes everyone a safe journey and reminds everyone about the importance of regularly following official updates to help plan travel efficiently and securely.
