Tourism Authority Launches Trusted Thailand Campaign

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has recently launched the “Trusted Thailand” stamp to strengthen Thailand’s position as a trusted and welcoming destination for international visitors.

Thailand continues to attract travelers worldwide with its diverse tourism assets, warm hospitality, and unique cultural identity. Yet, in today’s travel environment, safety has become a decisive factor, especially among families, female travelers, independent tourists, and quality visitors.

The Trusted Thailand stamp is used as a mechanism to restore traveler confidence while laying the foundation for Thailand’s tourism industry to meet international safety standards.

Under this initiative, the assessment covers four key areas: General safety measures at tourism sites, such as CCTV installation; secure financial transactions with recognized global platforms such as Alipay and WeChat Pay; foreign language communication and professional visitor care; and safe access and mobility.

Initially, the Thailand Safe Travel Stamp project is scheduled to launch nationwide in October 2025, with implementation across the country.
