Tourism Authority of Thailand Says Lalisa Promo Footage Was Not AI-Generated

Thailand –

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has clarified that promotional footage featuring Amazing Thailand Ambassador Lalisa “Lisa” Manobal was filmed using real footage and not generated by artificial intelligence (AI).

In response to online speculation surrounding the campaign promoting the Red Lotus Sea in Udon Thani province, TAT explained that the images currently being circulated are real photographs taken during an actual shoot. Graphic and visual elements were added during post-production to present the destination in line with the campaign’s creative concept. The agency stressed that no AI-generated imagery was used at any stage of production.

TAT affirmed the project was carried out in accordance with contractual agreements and in close coordination with the artist’s management agency. All materials and visual treatments were reviewed and approved in accordance with established procedures.

The agency also acknowledged public feedback and said the input will be used to improve clarity in future communications, while continuing to promote a positive image of Thailand’s tourism destinations and the artist.
