Thai police have arrested a 33-year-old man suspected of murdering his 25-year-old girlfriend, a popular online seller and influencer, whose body was discovered in a ransacked condominium room in the Bang Bua Thong district, authorities said on May 3, 2026.
The victim, identified as Panitsuda Hattadol (also known as “Dream”), a 25-year-old online vendor from Yasothon province, was found dead around 7:00 p.m. on May 2nd in a room of the condominium building. Her body was located beside a bed with two pillows placed over her head. The scene showed clear signs of a struggle, with belongings scattered throughout the room.
Investigators discovered a diary at the scene written by the suspect, Nittirun Laosuksantisawong, 33, himself an online seller and the victim’s live-in boyfriend. In the diary, he claimed that someone was planning to harm him and asked others to look after his cat and personal property.
Police in Bang Bua Thong district determined the death was a homicide based on initial forensic evidence. The suspect had left the residence on the evening of April 30th and went off the grid. Surveillance footage and other evidence led authorities to obtain an arrest warrant (Nonthaburi Provincial Court No. J.622/2569) on charges of intentional murder.
The suspect reportedly fled north, abandoning his red Mazda 2 with Bangkok license plates in Suphan Buri province before continuing by bus. He was tracked and arrested at a hotel in the Nong Pa Khrang area of Mueang Chiang Mai district, through coordination between Provincial Police Region 1 and Region 5.
According to Thai media reports the suspect initially confessed to the charges upon arrest. Officers from Bang Bua Thong police station were dispatched to Chiang Mai to escort him back to Nonthaburi for further legal proceedings.
The victim’s body was released to her family. Her mother, Mukda Suksamer, 59, transported it to her grandmother’s home in Yasothon province for religious rites.
This case has drawn widespread attention due to both the victim being a popular online seller and as another instance of domestic violence in Thailand, where police frequently focus on the importance of rapid response to missing persons reports and forensic evidence in apartment-related crimes. Investigations are ongoing to establish the full motive and timeline.
