He was joined by Mr. Naris Niramaiwong, Governor of Chonburi, and Mrs. Wilawan Khamjun, Director of the Education Division and acting school director, who reported details of the incident.

Mr. Jeseth said the visit was intended to offer encouragement to everyone affected. He described the incident as a personal matter between a couple and not a mass shooting incident or one that targeted students or chilren. Although the school already had preventive measures in place, he acknowledged that they must be strengthened and made more comprehensive and strict going forward. As for the criminal case, he said it should be left to the police to investigate the cause. At the same time, he ordered Chonburi provincial public health teams to quickly provide psychological support to teachers and staff.

Regarding the suspect, he is still hiding in a residence as of press time. Police have surrounded the house and opened negotiations for a peaceful surrender to prevent further loss of life.
