Now for the update:
Over the past weekend investigators quickly discovered that the suspect attempted to erase his trail by abandoning and setting fire to the vehicle used in the escape. Believing this would destroy crucial evidence, he then fled towards Bangkok, seeking refuge in a resort in the Khan Na Yao district.

Detectives from Khlong Luang Police Station joined forces with Provincial Police Region 1 and Pathum Thani investigators. They meticulously traced CCTV footage and technical data, reconstructing the suspect’s movements step by step. Despite his efforts to obscure the route, officers identified his hideout within hours.

The suspect now faces charges of armed robbery using a vehicle to facilitate the crime and evade capture. He has been handed over to investigators for prosecution under Thai law.

Despite the suspect’s dramatic attempt to burn evidence and vanish into the city, the relentless pursuit by Khlong Luang detectives and their partners ensured the case was closed in record time.
