Thailand announces 63 new daily domestic cases of Covid-19, 9 imported cases

Thailand has announced 63 new domestic confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the Kingdom this morning, with 9 imported cases for a total of 72 new, confirmed cases of the virus.

The announcement was made by the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) in Bangkok.

Of the 63 new local cases, 50 were found through contact tracing and in hospitals, and the remainder were found through active case-finding in local communities, such as factories and migrant worker camps.

Samut Sakhon had the most with 37 cases, Pathum Thani had 14, Bangkok had 5, Tak had 4, Nakhon Pathum had 2, and Ayutthayawith 1.

There were no additional deaths reported.
