Thailand announces 112 new cases of Covid-19, mostly in Bangkok and Samut Sakhon

Thailand has announced 112 new domestic confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the Kingdom this morning (March 20th), with 7 imported cases for a total of 119 new confirmed cases of the virus.

The announcement was made by the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) in Bangkok.

Of the 112 new local cases, 65 were found through contact tracing and in hospitals, and 47 were found through active case-finding in local communities.

Samut Sakhon and Bangkok had the most with 38 cases each and other provinces had 36.

Samut Prakan had fifteen cases, linked to migrant workers at a construction camp.Story by The Pattaya News
