Chonburi orders temporary closure of two major markets due to Covid-19 cases

The Chonburi Governor tonight (June 23rd) has ordered the temporary closure of two major markets in Mueang Chonburi and Sattahip districts due to many confirmed cases of Covid -19.

The order from the Chonburi Governor Phakarathorn Tieanchai has been released by the Chonburi Public Relations Office around 8:30 P.M.

The order concludes, “Many Covid -19 confirmed cases are being found at these markets. To control the spread of the virus, the Chonburi Disease Control Committee has agreed with:

  1. The temporary closure of the ‘New Market Chonburi’ from 8:00 A.M. tomorrow (June 24th) to July 7th.

  2. The temporary closure of the ‘Morning Market Sattahip’ and shops around the market from June 24th to July 4th.

The order takes effect from tomorrow (June 24th).
