Chonburi orders temporary closure of two major markets due to Covid-19 cases

Chonburi –

The Chonburi Governor tonight (June 23^rd) has ordered the temporary closure of two major markets in Mueang Chonburi and Sattahip districts due to many confirmed cases of Covid -19.

The order from the Chonburi Governor Phakarathorn Tieanchai has been released by the Chonburi Public Relations Office around 8:30 P.M.

The order concludes, “Many Covid -19 confirmed cases are being found at these markets. To control the spread of the virus, the Chonburi Disease Control Committee has agreed with:

1. The temporary closure of the ‘New Market Chonburi’ from 8:00 A.M. tomorrow (June 24th) to July 7^th.

2. The temporary closure of the ‘Morning Market Sattahip’ and shops around the market from June 24^th to July 4^th.

The order takes effect from tomorrow (June 24^th).
