Thai Prime Minister will visit Chonburi on May 9th to discuss smart farming

The Thailand government spokesperson revealed yesterday, May 7th, that Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan O’Cha will visit the Kubota farm at Nong Irun sub-district, Ban Bueng, Chonburi, this Sunday, May 9th to discuss Smart Farming. 

According to the schedule, the PM will receive a brief about Smart Farming from the local representatives from Sisaket and Udon Thani provinces at 9.00 a.m. The goal of Smart Farming is to boost crop production to alleviate poverty among farmers.    

After the meeting, the PM will deliver the policies to drive the economy in the areas under the principle of Sufficiency Economy and examine the Kubota farm. The Kubota farm (MAP HERE) is an exemplary modern farm that has adapted agricultural innovations to lessen budgets while increasing yields. The farm is open to anyone interested in modern agriculture.
