Pattaya, Thailand-

The Pattaya Provincial Court granted bail to Sia Yot, the father of Sia B, this morning, August 17th, 2022 around 11:10 A.M. in the amount of one million baht.

Sia Yot is accused of being the actual owner of the Mountain B nightclub that two weeks prior had an explosion and fire, killing 19 people in total and injuring dozens of others.

Sia Yot will need to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet, is forbidden from leaving the country, must check in on a regular basis, and cannot interact with any witnesses or tamper with any evidence.

Sia Yot denies all charges and is steadfast in saying he has nothing to do with the venue. His son, Sia B, has taken all accountability and claims he was the sole owner and sole person responsible for the incident. Thai police, however, claim Sia Yot was involved with the business and there may be others involved as well.
