Thai Cabinet announces additional holidays in three provinces on November 16th – 18th for APEC 2022 Conference

Bangkok –

The Cabinet Committee on Wednesday, October 5th, announced additional holidays on November 16th – 18th in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan during the APEC 2022 Conference at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok.

Government spokesperson Anucha Burachaisri revealed to the Associated Press yesterday afternoon that the holiday was designated in order to facilitate traffic and maintain the effective security of attendees from 20 member economies who would join the APEC Conference held between November 14th and the 19th.

The holidays may or may not be applied in state enterprise, financial institutions, and private companies, depending on the individual sectors ands decisions of the Bank of Thailand and Ministry of Labor.
