Thailand Holds Annual National Teacher’s Day Event

The Ministry of Education held events marking the annual National Teachers’ Day today on January 16^th.

The Thai Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha has revealed the slogan of the Teacher’s Day this year, ‘Good teachers, Good students, Good future’. The event is held under the idea of Teacher’s Power is the Heart of Transforming Educational Quality.

General Prayut this morning presided over the event at the Teachers Council of Thailand. This year marked the 67^th Teacher’s Day. Teachers across the country joined in the Teacher’s Day events in the province.

This day is the Teacher Day for teachers while a similar student’s day will normally be on the second Thursday in June after the new semester starts.
