PRESS RELEASE:
The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested a woman who invited a close friend to go make merit before her mysterious death on April 14th, 2023.
Relatives of the deceased came to the police to help investigate on the mysterious death of a young woman from Ratchaburi province.
The CIB police in charge of this jurisdiction together with local police investigated and found evidence from CCTV footage showing the deceased collapsing after making merit with the accused, in which the accused called for help and suddenly left in a vehicle. Police also found similar incidents from further investigation.
After investigating this case, the CIB police made an arrest of a woman identified only as Ms. Sararat, age 36, on the 25th of April 2023 under the charge of “Pre contemplated killing of another person” in which the offender was arrested at a government complex in Changwatana, Bangkok.
The name of the victim was not released.
