This story was a major discussion point on our social media the past week.
The legal closing time for nightclubs in Phuket is 2 AM.
In the past 15 years, no one in Phuket has died from rabies disease. Phuket will be officially announced as the first province in Thailand that is rabies free. This will allow tourists to have more confidence when visiting Phuket.
The foreign couple apparently worked as a team and allegedly stole the bag of money. The couple then fled to Phuket.
Lifeguards also warned him before he ignored them as well. The tourist drowned before he was pulled up from the water.
The driver later stated that he was told he was not allowed for pick-ups for the app, even though his van had legal yellow plates and other transport requirements.
