PM in waiting and leader of the Move Forward Party Pita Limjaroenrat has been infected with COVID-19 for the third time.

In his Facebook post on June 20th, Pita warned people who were close to him in the past week to monitor themselves for any COVID-19 symptoms.

He said he started to develop symptoms on Sunday, after his return from a visit to Chiang Mai to thank supporters. His symptoms are mild, although Pita stated he has received 6 doses of COVID-19 vaccines.

According to Chaithawat Tulathon, the Move Forward secretary-general, Pita will not be able to attend a meeting of leaders of the eight coalition parties scheduled for this Thursday. The meeting will likely be held on June 26th instead, he said

The Pattaya News notes that this is the third time that Pita has been infected with COVID-19.
