Six People Injured in Major Bangkok Bus Accident

Bangkok –

At least six people have been injured after a bus crashed into a pole in Bangkok before a pickup truck overturned and a motorbike got stuck under the wreckage.

The accident took place just after noon on Saturday (June 24th) and was at the popular Ratchaprasong Intersection in Din Daeng. At the scene first responders found that the bus had crashed into a power pole and that about four motorbikes were damaged from the accident. Nearby, response teams also found an overturned pickup truck and damaged street vendor cart.

It has been reported from the associated Thai press that six people were injured in the incident which were five men and a woman. Their names and conditions were not immediately released to the media.

Some of those injured had to be recovered from beneath the wreckage. This is a developing story and more information may be released in the near future.
