Elderly Australian Man Found Dead at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok

Samut Prakan —

An 82-year-old Australian man was found deceased in the arrivals hall of the Suvarnabhumi international airport in Samut Prakan province Tuesday night, September 5th.

The discovery of the elderly victim was reported to airport police at 8 PM. He was found by an unidentified individual as he laid across seats on the second-floor of the arrivals hall.

The man of Australian nationality was believed to have been dead for a minimum of 3 hours. In accordance with standard editorial policy, The Pattaya News has refrained from disclosing his name until his family and embassy are informed. His body was transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for post-mortem examination.

According to the police’s initial assumption, the man might have disembarked from the plane when he felt discomfort or suffered an intensified congenital illness. This led him to rest on the seats where he unfortunately passed away.

His embassy is being notified.
