Thai Prime Minister to Visit Phuket This Month

Thailand’s Prime Minister will visit Phuket again this month to mainly follow up on transportation projects.

The Phuket Vice Governor Amnuay Pinsuwan told the Phuket Express that Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and the Minister of Transport Suriya Juangroongruangkit are scheduled to visit Phuket on September 29th.

Their visit will mainly follow up on the main projects of the Transportation Ministry and the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry.

The main projects are the development of the Second Phuket International Airport (Phang Nga Airport), garbage management, water resource problems, the Andaman Wellness Corridor project and other delayed transportation projects.
