On October 6th, 2023, the Thai Situation Command Center (SCC) received an apology letter from the parents of the perpetrator, a 14-year-old shooter at Siam Paragon Shopping Center.

They sincerely apologized for what happened to all involved parties and will cooperate with police officers and relevant government officials in legal proceedings.
