Five Cows Killed in Lightning Strikes in Phetchabun

At 5:30 PM, on October 6th, 2023, sources received a report on lightning strikes that killed 5 cows in Chon Daen, Phetchabun.

In a bamboo cow pen, 5 cows were burnt to death and the pen was damaged by lightning strikes as well.

Mr. Paisan Singsathit, 50-years-old, the cow owner, revealed to the Thai media that he possesses 16 cows in total. However, on the incident day, there was a thunderstorm, and lightning strikes hit the cow pen 2 times in a row.

He later rushed to the pen after the rain stopped and found 5 cows dead. Mr. Paisan also said that he had a Brahman cow worth more than 100,000 baht killed.
