Hat Yai Police Arrest Unregistered BB Gun Vendor

Hat Yai—

On October 19th, 2023, the Thai Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) team made an arrest on an alleged shop owner of BB guns with a total of 29 units at an estimated value of 80,000 baht at Santisuk Market, Hat Yai, Songkhla.

The alleged shop owner was later publicly identified only as Mrs. Preeda, 55-years-old who reportedly smuggled the sale of BB guns on social media and a street stall using hiking equipment as a front.

The police officers pressed charges of selling goods without a label or with an incorrect label before escorting Preeda to the Hat Yai police station for further legal proceedings.
