Seven Cows Killed, Many Injured in Lorry Accident in Sisaket

Sisaket—

A lorry carrying multiple cows flipped over in an accident, killing seven cows and injuring many others.

At 5:00 AM, on October 18th, 2023, the Uthumphon Phisai police officers received an accident report about a 22-wheel lorry freighting cows that had flipped over on Uthumphon Phisai-Huai Thap Than Road, Uthumphon Phisai, Sisaket. At the accident scene, there were seven cows killed and many injuries.

The unidentified lorry driver stated to the police officers that he was driving from Ubon Ratchathani to Prachuap Khiri Khan to deliver the cows.

However, it was very dark at night, and without any street light, he could not see a road barrier in the middle of the road. He attempted to evade the road barrier to a side road but then lost control of his vehicle and flipped the lorry.
The police officers called a crane to lift the lorry up and did not press charges against the lorry driver as there was no government property damaged.
