1. The famous fire walking ritual was held at the Phuket Vegetarian Festival.

The vegetarian street procession on Sunday (October 22nd) was held by the Kathu Chinese Shrine which is the oldest Chinese shrine in Phuket.

2. The Phuket Vegetarian Festival ended with a million fire crackers. The festival next year will be from October 3^rd to October 11^th, 2024.

3. A wanted man in Pattaya was arrested at the Phuket International Airport.

A wanted New Zealander was arrested at Phuket International Airport after he escaped from Thailand 15 years ago and decided to risk returning.

It is believed Freeman thought that as so much time had passed since the incident that he could return under a fresh passport and not be denied entry.

4. Two Immigration officers were injured after they were attacked by a foreign man while searching for a different wanted Indian man at a villa in Thalang.

Multiple foreigners have been given a lifetime ban after an incident that saw several Immigration officers injured when the foreigners attempted to stop Immigration officers from serving a search warrant on a property to look for and arrest a wanted Indian national.

The Phuket Express noted that the Phuket Immigration Officers did not identify who specifically was given a lifetime ban for entering Thailand.
