Royal Thai Police Addresses Key Cases and Promotes Southern Border Peace Strategy

At 4:30 PM, on October 31st, 2023, Pol. Gen. Torsak Sukvimol, the commissioner general of the Royal Thai Police and relevant officials paid an official visit to the Pattani Provincial Police station to inspect and follow up on important cases in Pattani.

There were police station chiefs from 16 police stations in Pattani and other relevant police officers in Songkhla and Narathiwat who gave each other a warm welcome.

Pol. Gen. Torsak had a meeting on the progress of ongoing important cases and provided guidelines for investigating various cases to local police officers.

As for solutions to problems in the southern border area in regards to terrorist violence, a proactive measure “Understanding, Reaching, Developing” was employed together with cooperation from religious leaders, local leaders, and community leaders in Pattani.

Pol. Gen. Torsak further emphasized that police station chiefs should consider the well-being of their subordinates with care and dedication.


At 8:40 PM on the same day, Pol. Gen. Torsak went to inspect the Tha Sap checkpoint in Mueang, Yala, and granted various support items as an aid to provide morale and encouragement to stationed police officers.
