Massive Seizure of E-cigarettes in Ayutthaya: Over 60,000 Units Worth 10 Million Baht Confiscated

On November 8th, 2023, Thai Anti Trafficking In Persons (ATP) officers confiscated E-cigarettes, E-liquids, and other equipment, a total of 60,500 units worth over 10 million Baht, at a private distribution center in Bang Pa-in, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya.

According to the report from the ATP officers, an anonymous source reported to the police that there was a contraband smuggling operation involving E-cigarettes, E-liquids, and other equipment from abroad to a private distribution center. The relevant officers then asked for cooperation from the private distribution center to inspect the alleged goods.


As a result of the police search, there were 29 boxes of property found which were in dispute containing E-cigarettes, E-liquids, and other equipment worth more than 10 million baht.

The ATP officers confiscated the property in dispute as evidence and pledged to conduct further investigation to hold involved individuals accountable for their crimes.
