Italian Man Dies After Falling from Bangkok Sky Train Platform

Bangkok —

An Italian man has died after falling from the BTS Sanam Pao Skytrain Station in Bangkok on Tuesday morning, November 14th.

The incident was reported yesterday morning in the Phaya Thai area, prompting police officers and rescue workers to rush to the scene.

The victim, a 34-year-old man from Italy, whose name has been withheld pending family notification, was found deceased on the road beneath the skytrain platform. It has been reported that the man intentionally jumped from the platform to his death, but confirmation by the police is still pending.

The man was wearing a red shirt, jeans, and sneakers. His body was transferred to a nearby hospital for further examination.
