Thai Tourists Injured, Some Seriously, in Tour Bus Accident in Turkey

On November 23rd, 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy officials in Ankara, Turkey, publicly revealed that a coach bus carrying Thai tourists had an accident on the way to Denizli City. There were 4 serious injuries and 22 minor injuries reported from the accident.

Turkish reporters stated to the public that the accident involved a coach bus from the Dorak Tour Company carrying 26 Thai tourists heading to Denizli city. Suddenly, for an unclear reason, the coach bus severely collided with a roadside billboard.

As a result, 4 unidentified Thai tourists suffered serious injuries and another 22 Thai tourists suffered only minor injuries. They were transferred to the Cardak and Pamukkale hospitals in Denizli shortly after.

Initially, Turkish Embassy officials were contacting the families of the victims to give them updates on the health conditions of their relatives. However, no further details were reported as of press time in regards to the exact cause of the accident.
