Update: Two Thai People Pronounced Dead Following Denizli Bus Accident

On November 23rd, 2023, DORAK ASIA, the tour company, publicly announced an update from a recent accident in Denizli city that two Thai people were pronounced dead.

According to the announcement from DORAK ASIA, from the accident, there were a Thai guide and a Thai tourist announced dead after being transferred to local hospitals. The names of the victims were withheld by the company.

DORAK ASIA officially had a letter stating as follows:
We regret to inform that a bus from our company was involved in an accident under the management of the Denizli-Afyonkarahisar highway, at Cardak Airport Junction on the 23rd of November. The bus collided with another vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and hit the highway direction signpost on the median. The incident resulted in injuries to the driver, an assistant guide, and 26 Thai tourists on board.

Out of the 26 individuals in the tour group, 22 sustained minor injuries and are currently receiving treatment at three local hospitals. DORAK has arranged 4 staff members at each hospital to assist with meals and other necessities for the affected individuals.

Both DORAK and the Thai Embassy are actively providing assistance and have arranged flights to ensure the safe return of the tour members to Thailand.
