On November 29th, 2023, Mr. Thianchai Phisitwuttinun, the Executive Chairman of Global Sports Ventures Co Ltd., held a press conference on RWS: Legend of Rajadamnern, a kickboxing match on December 2nd.
The kickboxing fight will be held between Buakaw Banchamek, a Thai superstar kickboxer, and Nayanesh Aiman, a Spanish-Congolese boxer, using the rules of Thai kickboxing with a total of three rounds.
Buakaw and Nayanesh had fought before in Kunlun Fight 2018 in China, as a result, Buakaw was able to annihilate Nayanesh in the first round.
Meanwhile, Buakaw publicly revealed that the upcoming match on December 2nd might be his last fight using Thai kickboxing rules as he seeks new challenges from other forms of martial arts. However, Buakaw vows to give his best effort in the fight and will not disappoint his fans.
Thianchai publicly stated that the Rajadamnern Boxing Sports Development Committees have been working proactively with associations from every relevant sector resulting in an increasing number of visitors by up to 1,600% in 2023 compared to the numbers in the previous year. Furthermore, television ratings also skyrocketed up to 300% on RWS fights.
RWS: Legend of Rajadamnern on December 2nd will be broadcast nationwide on Workpoint 23 channel and other social media platforms highlighting the event such as Youtube: WorkpointOfficial and Facebook: Workpoint Entertainment. There will also be global streaming platforms in 200 countries broadcasting the kickboxing fight.
