Thai Fighting Legend Buakaw Wins Major Kickboxing Match Against Nayanesh in Bangkok

Bangkok—

On December 2nd, 2023, Buakaw Banchamek, the world-famous Muay Thai fighter, dominated a kickboxing match against Nayanesh, a Spanish-Congolese boxer, at RWS: Legend of Rajadamnern, Bangkok.

Buakaw had previously fought against Nayanesh in Kunlun Fight 2018 in China, as a result, Buakaw was able to annihilate Nayanesh in the first round.

Buakaw was coming off a recent win against his friend and fellow Muay Thai legend Saenchai in Pattaya in Bare Knuckle Boxing and was the heavy favorite.

The three round match under kickboxing rules was held at the Rajadamnern stadium, Bangkok on Saturday, December 2nd.
After the third round, Buakaw won by a unanimous decision as he pushed his opponent into defensive stances.
Buakaw stated after the fight ended that it depends on the terms and conditions of the RWS whether he would be in a future match under kickboxing rules or not.

Buakaw had previously stated that this might be his last fight ever under kickboxing rules as he is interested in other martial arts.
