At 8:00 PM, on December 31st, 2023, His Royal Majesty the King, Vajiralongkorn, granted a royal blessing to welcome the new year of 2024 for morale and encouragement to the Thai people.
In 2024, His Royal Majesty the King wished happiness and good wishes to all people in Thailand. As many might have already known, the 13th of October each year is the anniversary of the death of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
A royal ceremony was previously held at Chaloem Phrakiat Park (Queens Park) on October 13th.
Furthermore, His Majesty the King congratulated Si Thep Historical Park in Phetchabun which was recently announced by UNESCO as a registered world cultural heritage.
In the new year, His Majesty the King seeks everyone to work together with a resolution to overcome any obstacles with wisdom and reason. The knowledge and ability of every sector should be put to good use for the nation’s development and peace for all people.
