Minister of Interior Coordinates Relief Efforts for Victims of Suphanburi Fireworks Factory

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, has visited the site of the recent fireworks factory explosion in Suphanburi province.

There, he held discussions with relevant government agencies under the Ministry of Interior, and issued orders to expedite assistance to the families affected by the tragic incident. Deputy Prime Minister Anutin stated that special attention must be given to the children who lost their parents in the incident. He already instructed the Governor of Suphanburi to take care of their educational needs.

He noted that these children will now be living with relatives who may face financial difficulties, implying the need for additional support. He called for both government and private sectors to lend a helping hand during these difficult times.

Anutin reiterated that his visit is focused on assessing what his ministry and the police can offer in terms of assistance. He also mentioned that some of the victims had insurance policies, and he emphasized the need for rapid compensation to their families.

He acknowledged that preventing a recurrence of such incidents will take time to correctly address and resolve the underlying issues.
