Now for the update:

On Thursday (March 7th) Colonel Parinya Klinkaesorn, the Immigration Spokesman said to the Thai press “The Immigration Commander of Region 6 Major General Songprod Sirisukkha has approved the revocation of Mr. URS BEAT FEHR or Mr. David’s business visa which allows him to stay long-term in Thailand as requested by Phuket Immigration.”

“We agreed that Mr. David’s behavior is believed to be harmful for the public, posing a risk to both peace and public safety.” Colonel Parinya added.

“Mr. David will be informed of his visa status and is set to be detained at Phuket Immigration. However, he is still in the process of legal action with a Thai national with the accusation of bodily and mind harm. He can request for bail during this process but will need to settle this legal matter before any formal deportation proceedings begin.” Colonel Parinya concluded.

It was unclear if Mr. David would be blacklisted on top of the deportation or how long any such period would last. Mr. David was reportedly consulting his lawyers for any potential way to appeal the revocation of his visa.

During the ongoing legal process stemming from the viral alleged kicking incident with a Thai doctor, Mr. David may be granted a temporary visa only allowing him to stay for court proceedings, called a suspect visa, since his business visa has been revoked.

Mr. David has continued to deny the accusation of kicking the Thai doctor, saying he slipped.
