Street Shooting Incident in Pathum Thani Leaves Three People Injured, Police Investigating Suspects

At 5:40 PM, on March 24th, 2024, Khlong Luang police officers received a shooting report causing three injuries in Soi Thepkunchorn, Khlong Luang, Pathum Thani.

Khlong Luang police and emergency services were dispatched to the incident scene and found three victims who were publicly identified only as Mr. Teeraphan, 20, Mr. Nawamin, 22, and another person whose name was completely withheld by the police.

The emergency teams performed first aid before transferring two of the victims to Thammasat University Hospital for immediate medical treatment. One of the victims suffered only very minor injuries not needing hospital care and was escorted to the Khlong Luang police station for police interrogation.

Upon the police investigation of the crime scene, officers found seven 9 mm bullet shells and bullet traces on a sedan’s driver window and a motorbike. The forensic officers gathered the fingerprints and investigated the bullet trajectory at the crime scene as evidence.

According to the police report, the grandson of the owner of the residence where the incident took place told the police that the two main victims were sitting in front of the house. Suddenly, two suspects on a motorbike shot at them before fleeing away, said one of the victims.

It was reported that inside the house there were more than 10 people who gathered regularly, according to the police.

Initially, the police gathered local CCTV indicating the two suspects committing the crimes. The police pledged to investigate the case to track down involved individuals accountable for their crimes. The motive behind the shooting was not revealed by the police, noted TPN Media.
