Thai Prime Minister joined Songkran in Hua Hin

Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has joined the Songkran celebrations in Hua Hin district, making a spirited appearance at the festival organized by Prachuap Khiri Khan province and the Hua Hin district.

Arriving at Phon King Phet Park in a taxi, Srettha was accompanied by his daughter and Minister of Transport Suriya Jungrungreangkit.

During the event, the premier took part in traditional activities, splashing water with both locals and tourists and engaging with children who playfully applied powder to his face. The prime minister was seen paying respects to Phra Phutthasihing and taking part in a water pouring ceremony, exchanging good health wishes with the elderly residents.

The festivities also saw Srettha kick off the Hua Hin Songkran parade and partake in further water splashing activities along Soi Hua Hin 76. The atmosphere at Phon King Phet Park was amplified with the addition of a water tunnel, foam pool, and a stage for performances, providing a lively and engaging environment for all attendees.
