Tak Army Unit Receives Support from Visitors at Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridges During Songkran

On April 13th, 2024, Thai national media reported that the Naresuan Army unit was on duty at the Thai border, Mae Sot, Tak, during the Songkran holidays to maintain safety for the people diligently.

According to Thai national media, the Naresuan Army unit maintained the safety of people at the First and Second Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridges during the Songkran holidays. The army kept guard at the bridges 24 hours a day.
Many Thai and foreign tourists visited the First and Second Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridges and witnessed the officers’s vigorous effort under the scorching weather. They then reportedly brought drinks, snacks, and packed lunch to the officers on duty.

It was reported that the officers and the givers were both happy as the gifts provided positive morale and encouragement for the officers to perform their duty for the nation and its people.
